Don't rely solely on what you see or hear!
- In the case of voice recording: Check for monotonous way of speaking and unusual accent, strange background noises and deviation from familiar patterns
- Notice the unnatural lip movements, facial features, irregularities and head and body mismatch in video conferences
- Always verify unexpected requests through a known phone number or previously established communication channel before sharing information, approving transactions or transferring money
- For Phishing: Be cautious of emails, calls or messages that create a sense of urgency, request confidential information or encourage you to click unfamiliar links
